Continual promotion is a key element for adoption of the streaming program. It's critical at launch to be sure that your audience knows the content exists and how to access it, but it's important to continue to run promotions to introduce new content, get traction on evergreen content, and introduce new employees to the streaming content.
Running visual advertisements is an effective way to capture attention. In print, these can include a QR code for easy access to the mobile application and when digital, images can link through to the desktop application for easy conversion.

What to put in an ad
Here are tips to make great ads:
Highlight content
Remember, the value lies in the content of the application for the audience. The more you can highlight what insights the audience will receive from the content within the app, the more likely they will be to tune in.
Include feedback
Use quotes from your very own audience as social proof of how useful the content is. You can run a survey or, even easier, source it from the audience feedback found in the uStudio Management Console.
Call them to action!
Make it easy the audience to access the streaming content by providing QR codes, installation guides direct links, QR codes, or simple instructions on where and how they can play content.
Ad placement ideas
Here are ideas for where to place your ads:
Internal tools
Digital banners offer dynamic interaction through company digital platforms such as intranets, social tools like Viva Engage, employee portals, enablement tools, and even during online meetings. Banners can link directly to the episodes, making it convenient for employees to start playback. Scheduled pop-ups or banner ads on the company’s main intranet page can remind employees of new episodes or highlight popular ones.
Cross promotion with other channels
Integrating promotion with other internal communication channels like emails, newsletters, or internal social tools ensures a wider reach. This multi-channel approach reinforces the message and increases the likelihood of adoption.
In-office
Place promotional material in high-traffic areas within the office, such as the cafeteria, main entrance, or near elevators to ensure maximum visibility among employees during their daily routines. This promotional material can be printed or displayed on existing digital signage.
Onboarding materials
As part of the introduction to the company's culture and communication channels, streaming content can be highlighted as a valuable resource for gaining insights into company operations, success stories, and internal news. Including a section about the application in onboarding guides, welcome emails, and introductory presentations ensures that new hires are aware of this resource from day one. Provide easy instructions on how to access and follow shows, and recommend specific introductory episodes that encapsulate the company’s values or vision. This approach reinforces streaming content as an integral part of the company's communication framework.
