My Library Revamp
By the time you read this, the "My Library" section of your app will have been updated on both mobile and web platforms. We've introduced several changes to streamline and modernize navigation, ensuring that playlists and followed content are always just a click away. As your streaming network expands, My Library offers a personalized alternative to the Browse and Search functions.

Latest Content
We’ve introduced a new section in My Library called “Latest Content” which now prominently lists recently published audio or video streams across all of your shows. No more wondering what’s new.

From News to Featured
You asked, and we listened! We're excited to announce that the "News" button in our app is evolving to "Featured." This change will provide you with enhanced flexibility and more accurately represent the diverse range of content available. With Featured, you can program everything from your favorite picks and most-streamed content to an expertly curated playlist. Keep in mind, everyone is subscribed to Featured and will receive notifications whenever new content is added—so keep the content flowing!

Play Now!
The Play button is your gateway to getting content heard. We're on a mission to revitalize our library's Browse screen to create a more engaging experience, starting with a new "Play Now" option that will appear in May. This feature is designed to enhance how audiences interact with content on first login and help us better understand their streaming behavior. We'll be closely monitoring this update to see if it increases engagement. Join us in testing and experience the difference!

Feedback where it matters
We’ve added audience feedback to the content section of your administrative console. You now have immediate access to feedback in line with shows and episodes. Don’t forget to review Feedback regularly to incorporate comments into future recordings.
Pro Tip: Use positive feedback as quotes in your program's promotional ads and don't forget to request feedback during your podcast recording.

Dashboard dates never out of sight
When exploring insights about streams and users on your dashboard, it’s easy to forget there’s a date picker used to filter tables and graphs, particularly as you scroll down the page. We’ve made a quick adjustment here that pins the date picker to the top of the screen. It’s a little thing, but hopefully a useful reminder and update that saves you a bit of time.

One less step
To simplify your content management workflow, we are now removing the file extension (e.g., .mp4) from any content title you upload. This way, if you forget to change the name before you publish, it won’t be quite so obvious to your audience. Remember that enticing titles and descriptions make your audience that much more likely to click Play!

New Authenticated Player Embeds
If you’re taking advantage of our Easy Embeds in your intranet or LMS, you already know that putting links and content where your audience spends time increases your plays. While our Easy Embeds are platform-aware, they are not user-aware, making analytics around unique streams and named users impossible. To solve this challenge, we designed a special Embed that uses your standard login credentials (SSO) to authenticate users before playback. This new player - currently called SSO Player Beta - has the added benefit of activating users for the uStudio platform. This means that anyone who authenticates an embed becomes a uStudio user and can move in and out of your mobile and desktop applications without additional login steps. What’s more, users who activate via the SSO player will receive notifications and content digests, and all of their streaming data will appear in the dashboard and Analytics API. To keep our apps performant, we periodically earmark time for infrastructure upgrades and enhancements. We will be heads down this quarter updating back-end libraries, our Android app, data warehouse, and generally keeping our code current. While it may not seem very exciting, this is time well spent to ensure that future releases and features can be added quickly with maximum platform stability.
