How to stream live events privately with uStudio.
There are several ways to secure your live stream so that only the audience members you want can view your live content.
The simplest way is to only publish your live stream to an internal site, then lock down the player so it will only stream live content when accessed via that site (see How can I enforce video player embed restrictions?).
Another way to add security to your live content is by requiring an audience member to enter a password in order to start the live stream. You can do this with a uStudio Video Site with just a little bit of configuration, so contact email@example.com if you want to go this route. You can read more about Video Sites here - What is a Video Site.
Tighter security can be had by requiring each and every audience member to authenticate via your corporate SSO login. This requires an additional license, but also comes with the added benefit of tracking individual viewership down to the hours, minutes, and seconds a viewer spends engaging with each and every live stream. For more information, see Protect Players with Single Sign-On (SSO) Enforcement.
