Any YouTube User Channel destination can be set up as a private channel with uStudio.
Publishing video privately to a YouTube channel from inside uStudio's video platform Hub is very easy.
- The destination - whether new or pre-existing - must be of the type "YouTube User Channel".
- Whether creating a new YouTube destination, or editing one that already exists, simply check the box labeled "Publish Videos as Private" and save this configuration, as shown below:
From this point on, all videos that are published to this YouTube account will be private.
Notes: This only affects videos published to the YouTube destination AFTER this configuration has been set. Any videos already public on the YouTube channel will NOT be made private.
If you later uncheck the "Publish Videos as Private" box and save, all videos published to that destination thereafter will be public on the YouTube channel.
Any videos that were published privately can be individually changed to be public, just as any public video can be made private.
