uStudio enforces a hard cap on maximum file size. Attempted uploads of files larger than the hard cap will fail automatically. As it may increase over time the current max values are documented in this article.

Large file sizes can overwhelm even fast internet connections. While, we can handle files up to 8GB, our best practice is to work with files 2GB or less so that you can balance speed with quality. If your files are larger, i.e. 2 - 8GB, we at support@ustudio.com would like to know so that we can monitor your upload and ensure it is moving at optimal speed on our side. The good news is that our compression algorithms do a nice job of making sure that your compressed files still look great on playback screens.
