uStudio's charts begin displaying videos once they have at least 1 play but you can use the stats API to determine which videos have no plays whatsoever.
In the uStudio video platform UI, you will see a list of videos and their view counts, which you can filter in various ways (simply include your StudioID in a URL like this https://app.ustudio.com/#studios/[StudioID]/videos/all/stats/views). Videos without any views, however, are not included on these charts.
If you want to generate a list of videos *without* any views, you can access the Stats API (https://developer.ustudio.com/stats_api.html), which lets you query by day, or by date ranges.
Here's an example:
If you include video IDs and a date range like so:
The response will include the number of plays for that video in the given date range. If the result set is EMPTY, then that video had no plays during the specified date range.
With this approach, you could write a script to run once a month, checking for any videos with no plays in the last month, as these might be good candidates for archiving. While you can check multiple videos at a time (VideoIDs separated by commas can be included in the above URL), you should note that the Stats API docs recommend, for best performance, keeping the total number of unique indexed values for each query URL to <50. For instance, in the example above, there's 1 video + 31 days, for a total of 32 indexed values, and it returns immediately.
