We optimize on processing speed for the Preview Player so it may not reflect the best available quality of the video.
When a video is uploaded to uStudio, our platform quickly creates a low-resolution version for preview purposes only. We optimize this version of your video for speedy playback over quality, allowing you to view it within your studio as soon as possible. Thus, the quality of the preview may not reflect the quality of your broader audience's experience, or even the quality of your original file. We always maintain your original file for the purposes of higher-resolution transcoding later, as well as for you to download again as needed.
Once you publish the video anywhere, uStudio uses your original file (not the preview player version) to create all the necessary transcodes appropriate for the destination type.
If you believe the quality of your original video in uStudio is lower than expected, please don't hesitate to contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
