The News show is unique to uStudio and is a great tool to leverage when you want to promote podcast content or publish impromptu announcements.
When a piece of content is added to the News show, ALL users of the application will get an email notification and a push notification to their phone (unless push or email notifications have been disabled).
Since audience members will be notified upon publish, we recommend leveraging this show to promote new episodes during your launch and those pieces of content that are extra-important.
This can also be used as an impromptu channel to deliver updates or a news flash as opposed to your additional podcast shows that would be more structured. Examples of content include weekly leadership announcements, spoken press releases, and more.
