Overview
We’ve introduced an optional configuration designed for organizations that use access controls as part of their content governance strategy. When enabled, administrators are prompted to review access settings before saving a show that is visible to all users.
This safeguard helps ensure content is shared with the appropriate audience while still allowing administrators to intentionally make content broadly available when needed.
How It Works
When enabled, a warning modal appears whenever an administrator:
- Creates a new show with access set to All Users
- Edits an existing show and saves it with access set to All Users
There are two actions that the admin must take during this modal prompt. Clicking Cancel will close the modal without saving the Show. Clicking Save anyway will save the show with access set to All Users. Shows are considered group controlled when access is set to Private, with or without groups assigned.
Configuration
This feature is optional and enabled at the account level.
It is especially useful for organizations with distributed teams, business units, or audience segmentation requirements that rely on group-based access controls.
