| WHAT’S NEW FOR YOUR AUDIENCE |
|
|
Recently Played
Recently Played is available now on mobile (version 1.38.3506) and is rolling out to desktop over the next few days. This dynamic episode list, found in My Library, is personalized to each listener’s play history and makes it easy to:
| |
Pick up where they left off. Seamlessly continue listening to an episode they started earlier.
Reference back to valuable content. When paired with Read Along, it's easy to scan the transcript and jump straight to an important section.
Locate and share episodes. Easily find a recently played episode to share with a colleague.

Coming Soon: Saved (formerly Playlist)
Guided by customer feedback, we’re rebranding Playlist to Saved. The new name and icon are clearer and more intuitive for enterprise use. Employees can save episodes to a persistent list in My Library for two key purposes: to play later when they don't have time immediately, or to bookmark high-value content like training materials they want to revisit over time.

Show Embeds
Expand your reach and acquire new audiences by placing shows where people already work. Show Embeds unlock the ability to place full series inside your intranet, portal, CRM, or other apps, meeting audiences in context while preserving the deep analytics and SSO security you rely on. From any Show page in the uStudio Management Console, generate an embed code for an entire series; new episodes appear automatically with no republishing required.

|
Coming Soon: Featured on Browse
Today, Featured episodes are accessed through the mobile app’s bottom bar and the desktop side menu. With this update, those placements remain, and you’ll also have the option to surface Featured episodes directly on the Browse screen. Alongside other upcoming improvements, this update makes Browse a more relevant, personalized landing page and lets admins spotlight content that matters to everyone.

|
Coming Soon: Studio-level Analytics
We know how valuable the program-wide dashboard is to both quick overviews and deep dives into your analytics. What’s missing for large, scaled programs is an equally simple rollup at the content team or department level. Soon, we'll be offering an analytics view that is similar to the program-wide dashboard at a Studio level, allowing content teams to easily isolate and evaluate the performance of the shows and episodes they care most about.

These behind-the-scenes improvements ensure that uStudio continues to meet evolving enterprise security standards and maintain strong reliability across all applications, keeping your content and user data safe while delivering a seamless experience.

Program your Browse Page
As your streaming network grows, it’s critical to surface relevant content. On the Browse page, the first screen audiences see when they open the app, you can use several tools to bring priority content to the forefront.
| |
Use categories. Remember, shows can be assigned multiple categories, so don't shy away from creating categories like: Top Picks, For Everyone, or Most Popular.
Create curated shows to showcase existing content. Episodes can be published to multiple shows, giving you flexibility to highlight content in new ways. Consider variety shows like CEO's Pick of the Week (hand-picked episodes), Most Popular (crowd favorite episodes), or Regional Highlights with content specific to employee level or product line. This approach lets you cross-section existing content to match different audience mindsets without recreating episodes.
Be strategic about your latest content. At the top of Browse, each audience member sees the newest episode available to them. When publishing a batch of episodes, keep in mind, the most recently published will hold this highlighted position and will have the most eyes on it.
Feature specific episodes. Featured episodes will soon surface near the top of Browse (see Featured on Browse in the What’s New for Admins section above). You can feature any episode in your library and define the order in Featured, giving you precise control over what the entire audience sees when they log in.
|
The programmability and user-specific relevance of Browse is an area of focus for us in the coming months. If you’d like to help shape what’s next or join early user testing, please reply to this email to be included in upcoming feedback sessions and pilots.
